Students of Government college of Engineering organized Alumni meet on January 26, 2014. All the passed out students were invited to this function. Old students of this college formed an association known as Alumni Association. The alumni equip our students with the knowledge of career opportunities and industrial needs. Alumni Association paves a way for our students to trend upon towards successful career. Morning session was started with a prayer song, followed by lamp lightning, welcome address, Principal address, financial report submission, selection of office bearers, talk by the alumni, and finally ended up with momentum distribution
Alumni interaction is made mandatory for students to gain fresh outlook on the industry or the job world where as the Alumni is encouraged to give back to the juniors who will become a part of the larger Alumni of GCE. The interactions will let them know the career opportunities and industrial needs. Alumni Association also takes an active part in paving the way for our students to tread upon.
GCE Alumni prior to 2013 can register themselves on to the portal. Their registration will be confirmed by the office staff after which they can actively access the eLibrary and eBooks areas along with getting notification on ongoing programs and events at GCE.
